The site was created by Gary Spender of Helicopter Pilot Services Ltd, a company based in Cornwall and lead by Gary that produces quality aviation software written by aviation professionals.
About Gary
Gary is a fairly well known name in the UK Helicopter Industry, he is chief pilot as London Helicopter Centres which is part of the Patriot Aerospace Group and is an instructor and examiner with particular specialty in operating Agusta 109 helicopters, a software developer since early teens he has a long history of professional development having spent most of his twenties working as a software contractor around the UK. Nowadays he spends his time between flying and developing aviation software products, more notably websites. You can find out a bit more about him at www.garyspender.com
He is the person responsible for the UK Helicopter Safety Initiative and for this work he won the British Helicopter Association Eric Brown Award in 2008.
His name is perhaps best known as the creator of the Griffin Helicopters website which is one the most popular helicopter websites in the UK, serving over a million pages a year currently.
Having spent enough time creating websites and making them popular he also offers an SEO service without the annoying "we can get you on the first page of Google" marketing phone calls that seem to come twice daily from a lot of the competition.
